Based out of Lexington, KY, Five Dollar Fast is a non-profit that welcomes lunch-eaters into a community of people that are insistent on taking action to provide for the unprovided.
The concept is simple: Skip lunch. Give the $5 you would have spent. Five Dollar Fast then represents all of us and helps a person or family within its reach.
“I realized I couldn’t afford NOT to join five dollar fast. I care about helping people and my budget hasn’t changed at all. Really all I’m doing is allowing a small percentage of my grocery budget to sponsor a child overseas and I decide to pray when I’m hungry.”
